Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Welcome to India Taj Mahal! Meeting and assistance on arrival. Transfer to hotel.
Day 02 Delhi
Visit the various historical and cultural marvels of New and Old Delhi including the Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar , India Gate, Lotus Temple , etc the following day with a tour guide. Enjoy an evening rickshaw ride through Old Delhi - a truly memorable experience. Stroll through the bustling markets and bazaars and get a feel for life in India 's capital city!
Day 03 Delhi Khajuraho
Internal flight from Delhi to Khajuraho (1 hour).
Visit the beautiful World Heritage Site temples and architectural sites from the Chandela dynasty.
Attend the breathtaking Light & Sound Show at the Khajuraho temples in the evening.
Day 04 Delhi Khajuraho
Internal flight from Khajuraho to Varanasi (1 hour).
There's no better place than Varanasi to experience Hinduism up close. Take a boat ride along the ghats on the holy Ganges and observe the people busy with their various rites and rituals in the early morning as well as in the evening. Participate in the temple ceremonies and soak in the special aura of this place. A walk through the streets of the town is an eye-opening experience. Optional morning excursion to Sarnath, which is an important Buddhist centre.
Day 06 Delhi Agra
Morning drive from Delhi to Agra (4 hours). Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Day 07 Agra Jaipur
Drive from Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (4-6 hours depending on the stop). Arrive and check-in at hotel.
Day 08 Jaipur
Morning visit Amer Fort on Elephant's back. Afternoon take a tour of this colorful historic "pink city" with a local tour guide the next morning. Visit the Amber Fort, City Palace , the Palace of the Winds, Samode Palace and be transported back to the world of Maharajas and their lives . Stroll through the textile, jewelry markets and local handicrafts in this "shoppers' paradise", as the city is known.
Day 09 Jaipur Jaisalmer
Check-out at 12 noon. Later board overnite train from Jaipur to Jaisalmer (14 hours)
Train: AC 1 or 2 Sleeper
Day 10 Jaisalmer
Transfer to hotel from train station.
Visit the quaint and charming " Golden City " of Jaisalmer built around the massive living fort, visit the Gadisar Lake and the exquisitely carved havelis in the narrow alleys of the old town. Experience the melancholy romance of the desert by taking a camel ride into the sand dunes at sunset and witness cultural performances by local folk artists
Day 11 Jaisalmer Jodhpur
Drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (6 hours).
Jodhpur , the " Blue City ", famous for its local arts and crafts, has an impressive fort with an interesting museum. Here you can visit the cenotaphs of the Maharajas in the vicinity. Wander around the bell tower in the old city and visit the local markets and of course, the Mehrangarh Fort.
Day 12 Jaisalmer Jodhpur
Drive from Jodhpur to Ranakpur (5 hours). Overnite at the hotel.
Ranakpur, a small town in the foothills of the Aravallis, has been made famous by its gorgeous Jain temple built in white marble. Take a tour of the temple and be mesmerized by its intricate carvings and architecture. Also visit the nearby majestic fort at Kumbalgarh.
Day 13 Ranakpur Udaipur
Drive to from Ranakpur to Udaipur (2 hours) Arrive and check-in at hotel.
Day 14 Udaipur
Take a tour of one of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan and visit the grand City Palace , the Jagdish Temple and the royal garden, Saheliyon ki Baadi. Wander through the narrow streets of the old town and visit the markets. Go on a boat ride on Lake Picchola and experience the true beauty of this "City of Lakes ".
Day 15 Udaipur Departure
Internal evening flight from Udaipur to Delhi (1.5 hours)
Transfer to international terminal for departure on arrival in Delhi.
