Day 01 Delhi : Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival. Transfer to hotel.
Day 02 Delhi : Full day tour of Old and New Delhi.
Delhi was the capital of several Hindu, Mughal, Rajput, Turkic and Afghan empires in ancient India. As a consequence, Delhi has a unique history of blending itself with several different cultures.
Morning tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, The largest mosque in India, the Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk a three century old shopping area, is perhaps the most famous commercial area in India
Afternoon visit New Delhi including two World Heritage Sites, the 72.5 meters tall Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb. Other famous monuments include the India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), The Jantar Mantar, an 18th century astronomical observatory. Also visit Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple and one of the most visited Vaishnavite temples in the world, the Birla Mandir are located in Delhi. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings which houses several government buildings and official residences reminiscent of the British colonial architecture and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight Delhi.
Day 03 Delhi-Rishikesh : Drive to Rishikesh (6 ½ hour by road) or board train (4 ½ hour train) from
Delhi to Haridwar, followed by a 1 hour road journey. Meeting and
assistance on arrival and check-in at hotel.

Undoubtedly one of the best hotels in India and ranked in the Top 10 spa hotels of the world, this wonderful resort offers unbeatable spa facilities, peaceful solitude and a chance to get back to nature, whilst surrounded by luxury. It is, however, not only for those who want to spend time doing little but being pampered - it is also the perfect base from which to go walking, birdwatching, star-gazing, rafting, fishing or gameviewing. The 'treehouse' restaurant has sublime views of the valley below, whilst the swimming pool is the perfect place to top up your tan in a climate that is ideal almost year round.
Day 04 Rishikesh : Day at leisure
Day 05 Rishikesh : Day at leisure.
Day 06 Rishikesh : Day at leisure for Rafting on the might River Ganges is offered by Ananda from 15 September through to May of each year. This is a 4-5 hour excursion with 2 ½ hours spent travelling there and back and 2 - 2 ½ hours on the river. Helmets and life-jackets are provided and your riverguide will be a trained, professional rafter.
Day 07 Rishikesh-Delhi : After breakfast drive back to Delhi (6 ½ hour by road) or drive to Haridwar (which is a 1 hr journey) to board train (4 ½ hour train) for Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival and check-in at hotel.
Day 08: In time transfer to international airport to board flight for onward journey.
